We will arrive at your property in a timely manner ready to inspect the extent of the damage. It is important to get the water out or extracted as soon as possible to prevent any chances of of microbial growth, or secondary damages to unaffected areas. It is also your responsibility to mitigate the damages per your insurance policy. We will them start preventing secondary damage by moving & protecting contents, as well as extracting the bulk water. During the initial visit, we will also work with you to help file your claim with your insurance carrier.
DRYING & MONITORING PROCESS
Once the bulk water is removed, it is time to set up drying equipment. We utilize the most effective drying equipment in the industry to quickly and efficiently dry out your structure. This process usually takes 3 days. As we normally arrive before an insurance rep or adjuster, it is our responsibility to create a drying strategy by taking measurements of rooms, photos, and will also design a moisture map by utilizing advanced moisture detection equipment. We will then start the drying process by setting up equipment, demolition of any necessary materials to dry out the structure quickly and effectively. We also use hygrometers to take atmospheric readings. This tool helps us know that the affected air is at optimal drying conditions to dry the building materials in the quickest time possible.
